Dennis Spenst is a German architect with a strong focus on the intersection of design, construction, and project coordination. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2018, he gained experience in various architectural offices before completing his Master’s degree in Real Estate Project Management in 2021 – all while continuing to work full-time in the industry.
A key formative influence in his early career was working with architect Sebastian David Büscher, where he refined his skills in design development, execution planning, and client communication. This hands-on period laid the groundwork for a professional approach that is both creative and technically grounded.
From 2019 to 2024, Dennis worked primarily in Berlin, contributing to a wide range of residential, commercial, and administrative projects. His roles spanned cost planning, public tendering, site supervision, and architectural design, including work for HENN and Instone Real Estate Development GmbH. These years provided a deep understanding of the complexities of urban development and large-scale construction.
After completing his Master’s degree, Dennis met the entrepreneur and developer Ludger Westkämper — a pragmatic, hands-on character with a strong implementation drive. A close and trusting professional relationship quickly developed, shaping Dennis’s perspective on the value of execution strength, clear communication, and entrepreneurial thinking in architecture.
Dennis is known for his clear thinking, solution-oriented mindset, and structured way of working. He combines architectural sensitivity with a solid grasp of project management, making him a strong partner across all phases of a building’s lifecycle.
Today, Dennis is based in Bielefeld, West Germany, while still maintaining strong ties to Berlin, where he regularly collaborates on ongoing projects.
